Candle FAQs
Q: What ingredients do you use in your candles?
A: We use Apricot Coconut
wax, phthalate-free premium fragrance oil, and cotton wick.
Q: What about dyes or other additives?
A: None used. Our candles are natural wax and fragrance oil
only, and we use cotton wicks free of metal, zinc, and lead.
Q: What size candle do I need for my space?
A: One candle works great in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms,
and typically sized living/workspaces. Larger rooms or spaces with high
ceilings or open floor plans may need multiple candles for the best fragrance
permeation. You can have multiple candles of the same scent or mix and match
them to create your unique Mood. We offer three different candle sizes to fit
any Mood
Q: What is the difference between Mini, Standard, and
Large candle sizes?
A: Our 12 oz Standard Candles are great for
bedrooms and apartments, or those with scent sensitivities. They enhance a
space without overpowering it. They have a burn radius of 3-6 feet and burn for
40-45 hours.
Our 15 oz Large Candles are for bigger rooms or
those who prefer strong scented candles. They have a burn radius of 6-10 feet
and burn for 60-70 hours.
Our 8 oz Mini Candles are great for
gifting, small spaces, or travel and have a burn radius of 1-3 feet and burn
for 20-25 hours.
Q: Why does my candle look separated from the
glass?
A: Due to weather conditions, sometimes a slight
slippage from the glass occurs. Your candle is not damaged, and this
issue will be resolved while burning. During the drying process, depending on
the room's temperature, the wax can pull away from the glass as it cools,
creating this effect. However, once the candle is lit, it will go away as the
glass heats up.
Q: Can your containers be reused?
A: Yes! Once there’s 1/4 inch of wax left, stop using the
candle. Use caution and care when removing the remaining wax, wicks, and labeling.
Gently scrape out the wax and wicks/wick stickers with a rigid silicone utensil
(we don’t recommend knives or other metal items) and discard all wax in the
trash - never put wax down the drain or garbage disposal. Then place the
container in hot soapy water to soften any residue and labels, and wash, rinse,
and dry. We do not recommend scraping labels off as this might damage the
surface of the container. Containers may be put in the dishwasher once all wax
and label residue has been removed. Note: we assume no liability for candle
containers or subsequent results of reuse by the consumer once purchased.
Body Care FAQs
Q: What's the difference between body lotion and body
cream?
A: Body lotions are typically lightweight and spread more
easily, while body creams are richer and provide more intense
hydration. Body creams often contain more oils than body lotions, which
are often water-based.
Q: How should I apply body lotion or cream?
A: Apply a dollop of lotion or cream to your hand, or
directly to the area you want to treat. Massage it into your skin in small circular motions until it's absorbed. You can apply body lotion as often as you like, but once a day is usually enough. For best results, apply it after you shower or bathe when your skin is warm and damp.
Q: How do I check for allergies?
A: Before using a new body lotion or cream, you should do a patch test to check for potential allergic reactions. Common allergens
include fragrances, preservatives, and dyes.
Q: Can I use body lotion or cream on oily skin?
A: Yes, you should still use a moisturizer if you have oily
skin. Look for a water-based moisturizer or one with humectant ingredients
to hydrate your skin without clogging your pores

Q: What makes Moods by Michelle's body spray so different and special?
A: Our body sprays are handmade with each order. We take pride in making sure each order is individually customized for each customer, giving it that perfect blend every time. We don’t mass produce to help us
ensure that we stay committed to our customers and that each order is handcrafted with love. Our sprays have ingredients that give each blend skin nourishing properties with every spray.
Q: What different sizes of body spray do you offer?
A: We offer four different sizes, from our 2 oz travel size, 4 oz stash at your desk size to our 8 oz medium size and our big boy 16 oz bottle.
Q: How does MBM Body Spray fit into my daily body care
routine?
A: We’ll leave those details up to you, but we have a few pointers to help you get started. You can pair our body spray with a matching body
lotion or body cream. This will help the fragrance last longer throughout the day. If you want a more subtle scent, try using the spray on pulse points like
your wrist, neck, elbows, or behind your ears. We love the all-over spray testimonies
we get from our customers. They say an all-over body spray right before you walk out the door keeps them fresh and smelling good all day long.
Q: How long does the fragrance from MBM Body Spray last?
A: Our Moods by Michelle Body Spray will last approximately
2-3 hours. Keep a two oz bottle of Moods by Michelle Body Spray in your purse, stashed in your car, in a gym locker, or place a bottle in your desk drawer for a quick spritz throughout the day.

A: Our room sprays are formulated with a natural blend of essential oils, distilled water, and food-grade propellant, that is free from harmful chemicals and parabens.
Q: Are your room sprays safe for use around children and
pets?
A: When used as directed, our room sprays are considered
safe for use around children and pets. However, always keep the product out of reach and avoid spraying directly on animals.
Q: How long does the scent last?
A: The fragrance longevity depends on the room size and
ventilation, but typically lasts several hours with a single spray.
Q: Where should I spray your room spray?
A: For best results, spray lightly in open areas like corners, doorways, or towards the center of a room, avoiding direct spray on furniture or electronics.
Q: What if I have allergies or sensitivities to certain
scents?
A: If you have allergies, we recommend checking the
ingredient list on our website or contacting customer service to discuss potential sensitivities.
Q: Can I mix and match different scents?
A: Yes, feel free to mix and match our scents to create your
blended Mood.
Q: How do I use your room spray?
A: Shake the bottle well before use, then spray a light mist
into the air, allowing the fragrance to disperse evenly.
Q: Can I spray on fabric?
A: While you can lightly mist fabrics like curtains or
upholstery, we recommend doing a spot test on an inconspicuous area first to
ensure color fastness.
Q: How do I store my room spray?
A: Store your room spray in a cool, dark place, away from
direct sunlight and heat sources.
Q: Are your ingredients environmentally friendly?
A: We strive to use sustainable and responsibly sourced
ingredients whenever possible, and our packaging is designed to be recyclable.
Q: Are your products cruelty-free?
A: Yes, our products are cruelty-free and not tested on

General FAQs
Q: Do you offer expedited shipping?
A: Currently, we are not offering expedited shipping.
Q: I want to order multiple items within one order
and ship them as gifts to separate addresses; is this possible?
A: Unfortunately, you will have to place one order per address. The system allows only one tracking number per
order, so please place separate orders for gifting.
Q: Can I buy your products in a retail shop?
A: We exclusively sell our products directly through
our online store.
Q: Can I return or exchange my order?
A: Our number one goal is to ensure every customer's
happiness. If you're experiencing any issues, we want to hear about them so we

Q: When will I get my shipment?
A: ALL products are handmade once orders are placed and typically ship within 7-10 days after the order has been submitted. Orders placed on
weekdays will be shipped Monday through Thursday. Orders placed after noon EST
on Friday or over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following week.
Our preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority, which takes between 1-3 days
once shipped, subject to USPS schedules and guidelines.
Q: Do you ship outside the U.S.?
A: Not at this time.
